Salicylic acid  benefits for skin and hair

 

Salicylic acid it is a beta hydroxy acid and is extracted from the willow plant.

This is where it comes into play because it dissolves in oils and works best for treating acne, blackheads, etc., these are the skin problems as it penetrates the skin and works to dissolve dead skin cells and remove oils that clog pores.

People using isotretinoin and people with chronic or advanced skin infections of the face should not use it. It is also important to use sunscreen every day.

 

If you have any of the following health problems, consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this product: diabetes, poor circulation, skin problems. (such as infections, wounds, and atopic dermatitis).

 

 Use it during pregnancy or breastfeeding

It is safe for topical use, but it is not certain that if it is used topically it does not reach breast milk. When applying it, it should not be applied to any area of the body that may reach the infant’s skin or mouth. During pregnancy, this acid should be used only when absolutely needed.
